23 million metres in 90 days
We are delighted to launch Rowkyo as we now mark 90 days from the Olympics in Tokyo.
Rowing Ireland and Get Going Get Rowing are asking every person in their Clubs and sitting rooms to get behind Ireland’s Olympic rowing team and help them row to Tokyo.
We are challenging everyone in Ireland with a rowing machine or scull to join the challenge and row a combined distance of 23 million metres.
We have 90 days from the 23rd of April to the 23rd of July to row the distance from the National Rowing Centre in Cork to Sea Forest Waterway in Tokyo Bay.
We are asking all Junior, Senior and Masters rowers in River, Offshore and Coastal clubs to help us achieve our goal of 23 million metres in 90 days.
We want to get all rowing clubs of Ireland to “Row together” to support #Rowkyo and our Olympic Rowing team.
