We are delighted to announce a new stream of funding for our clubs. This “Sport for all funding” will allocate €2million for disability supports to all ROI clubs . This exciting news will offer every club affiliated Rowing Ireland an opportunity to provide inclusive programmes and supports for people with a disability.
Clubs can apply for funding of between €1,000 and €5,000 to support the following areas
- Disability Supports Education & Training
- Disability Supports Programme Activation and Delivery
- Disability Supports Small Scale Equipment and Infrastructure.
Funding guidelines will be distributed directly to Rowing Ireland, as a Sport Ireland recognised NGB. All club enquires in relation to the ‘Sport for All’ Disability Supports Club Fund should be made directly to Rowing Ireland.
Applications will be through an online form that should be submitted to Rowing Ireland by the end of August. It is anticipated that an announcement of funding allocations will be made by December 2022.
We will hold a webinar on this exciting funding opportunity for our clubs in advance of the deadline and during August.
