Rowing Ireland was pleased to present Bantry Rowing Club athlete Sadhbh Ní Laoghaire with a new set of adaptive oars and an adaptive seat, funded by Sport Ireland and the Dormant Account Diversity and Inclusion program.

Sadhbh is a PR2 sculler who began rowing at age 12. This past July, at just 17, she represented Ireland in the Home International Regatta in Scotland, where she won two gold medals—an incredible achievement considering these were her first and second ever races in her scull.

Currently in her Leaving Certificate year, Sadhbh aims to study Music and row at the University of Limerick next year while pursuing the Rowing Ireland High Performance Pathway. We look forward to her continued success and hope to see her represent Ireland at the Los Angeles 2028 or Brisbane 2032 Paralympics.
