Rowing Ireland is running Team Building Days through the Get Going…Get Going programme for transition year students.

We have teamed up with St. Michael’s Rowing Club and Castleconnell Boat Club in Limerick to offer these days to schools for their transition year students. It is important to keep students active and motivated through these challenging times.

It is important that we keep active and work alongside our peers in a fun and competitive environment. Rowing Ireland has engaged over 100,000 students since the inception of the Get Going…Get Rowing programme in 2014. The programme has gone from strength to strength over the last number of years.

These Team Building days were launched to allow students to experience rowing that may have not had the opportunity to before alongside their classmates and friends. Having the link with one of our clubs in Limerick to deliver these days, creates a link for interested students to join their local clubs.

Throughout the day there is a mix of on and off the water activity. Students will get the chance to experience rowing on the water and will learn rowing techniques before challenging their classmates in a race. Up to 30 students can take part and work together in this fun and motivational team building day!
