The 2026 Rowing Ireland University Championships are taking place in Lough Rinn, Leitrim on Saturday April 18th. The marquee event for universities sees some of Irelands top rowers compete against each other on a day jam packed with exciting races. This year the regatta has also added in 2 Mixed 8s races which will be a fantastic way to finish the days racing.
All of this cannot take place without the help of volunteers. We currently have a list of university students who are volunteering but are now on the lookout for more people.
Are you a University Alumni looking to give back to the place you spent so many years with? Are you part of a club but would love to be there on the day to see many exciting races? Then we need your help!
The racing will take place from 09:30 to 16:30 and all help will be needed. We are looking for:
Launch Drivers
Umpires
On Land Help (Such as slip stewards, timing etc.)
And much more!
