We are excited to announce that nominations for the 2024 Rowing Ireland Annual Awards are now open! This is your opportunity to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions and achievements of our rowers, coaches, clubs, and volunteers throughout the past year. The closing date for entries is Monday 2nd December 2024 at 5pm.

The awards will be presented at the Rowing Ireland Awards Night on the rescheduled date of Saturday, 25th January 2025, at Fota Island Resort, Cork.

Categories open for nominations include:

Coach of the Year
Senior Male Rower of the Year
Senior Female Rower of the Year
Junior Male Rower of the Year
Junior Female Rower of the Year
Masters Male Rower of the Year
Masters Female Rower of the Year
Club of the Year
Umpire of the Year
Volunteer of the Year (Chosen from the winners of Volunteer of the Month)
Women in Sport Advocate
President’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in Rowing
Rowability Award of the Year

Eligibility Criteria:
Nominees must have been members of Rowing Ireland and a paid member of an affiliated club during the 2023/24 season.

Nominations must be based on accomplishments between 01/09/23 and 31/08/24. Accomplishments outside this timeframe will be disregarded (except for the President’s Award).

Nominations must be submitted by a member of an affiliated Rowing Ireland Club.

Clubs may nominate members from other clubs or within their own club.

Only one nomination per category is allowed per club.
