What an incredible way to wrap up the 2026 Rowing Ireland Women in Leadership course in collaboration with Special Olympics and Archery Ireland coming together for a final in person workshop in Dublin.

On March 29th, female coaches and committee members travelled from all corners of the country for our final in-person workshop- a truly special and energising day hosted by our course facilitators Lisa Clancy and Sarah O’ Shea. The room was filled with passion, ambition, experience and a powerful sense of community that reflects the future of leadership in our sport.

Over the course of the 2026 programme, participants engaged in a wide range of modules and topics designed to build confidence, capability, and connection. From leadership styles and effective communication, to decision-making, resilience, and navigating challenges in sporting environments, the course created space for learning, reflection, and growth. Just as importantly, it fostered a network of supportive, driven women who are already making an impact within their clubs and beyond.

The final workshop gave us the opportunity to bring all of that learning to life – through collaboration, open discussion, and celebrating each individual’s progress and achievements.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, contributed, and supported this journey. The energy and commitment shown throughout the programme has been inspiring, and this is only the beginning.

Warmest Congratulations to our course graduates:
