Rowing Ireland are delighted to announce Gabriel Cox as the April Volunteer of the Month!
Gabriel is the current President of Carrick on Shannon Rowing Club, and go to man for all aspects of club life. He is a natural leader and drives the club in a unassuming ways, encouraging rowers, volunteers and the club committee.
He has given a lifelong contribution to the sport, and was a key member in the development of the Lough Rinn facility. Gabriel is highly involved in the club during the regatta season, especially around Lough Rinn Regatta where he is a leading volunteer and committee member.
Entries for May’s Volunteer of the Month award will open on May 11th!
