Athlone Boat Club is delighted that this years regatta can take place, over the past two weeks volunteers have been working around the clock to make this a special day for all at Coosan Point, Athlone. Club PRO Padraig Hegarty noted that the vision for the regatta was to create an atmosphere where junior rowing can take center stage, all crews will be assigned on the water by well experienced officials.
- Parking will be available on the day, this is being provided by a local resident of the area. The club will have officials from early morning to assist with parking of personal cars and boat trailers. These officials will be in place all day.
