The Coastal and Offshore ADM’s took place last Sunday in the Maldron Hotel in Portlaoise, with 15 clubs attending the meetings from all corners of the country.
The positive meeting led to the election of the new Coastal and Offshore committees. David Hussey, Portmagee Rowing Club, was appointed as the Chair of the Offshore committee and Ted McSweeney, Rushbrooke Rowing Club, was appointed as the Chair of the Coastal committee.
A number of proposals were discussed and voted on. Both the Coastal and Offshore event calendars were also agreed upon and will be made available on the Rowing Ireland website shortly.
