Rowing Ireland is proud to announce that our CEO, Michelle Carpenter, has been named one of the Top 50 Women of Influence in Irish Sport 2025 by Sport for Business.
Since taking on the role of CEO in May 2018, Michelle has played a leading role in driving growth and success within Rowing Ireland. This year alone, she has overseen a refresh of the organisation’s leadership team and celebrated four medals at the World Championships, reflecting both strong strategic vision and high performance across the sport.
Speaking about the recognition, Michelle Carpenter said:
“Rowing has been my passion from a young age, and it’s an honour to be recognised among such an amazing group of women in Irish sport. I’m proud to represent all women and members of Rowing Ireland, and to work alongside the most amazing group of women across the sport. Our athletes, staff, and volunteers inspire me every day to keep driving the sport forward.”
