The Domestic Events Committee would like to remind all clubs of the importance of adhering to Rule 2.40 – Dress Code during competition.
Rule 2.40 – Dress
All crew members and scullers must wear uniform dress in their club’s registered colours and designs while racing. Oars should also be painted in the club’s registered colours and designs.
In composite crews, each competitor must wear the registered uniform of their own club.
Undergarments of a similar length may be worn uniformly underneath the official uniform, provided the colour of the undergarment is either:
- The same as the body of the official uniform, or
- Plain white.
Failure to comply with this rule may be reported by the Observer or any licensed umpire. In such cases, the Disciplinary Officer may impose a fine on the club. Persistent non-compliance may lead to referral to the Disciplinary Committee.
We thank all clubs for ensuring their athletes uphold the standards of competition and represent their colours with pride and consistency.
