It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John McGeehan, the esteemed former President of Rowing Ireland. John was a dedicated leader, a passionate advocate for rowing, and a cherished member of our community. His contributions to the sport and our organisation were immeasurable, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.
John served as President of Athlone Boat Club for many years, significantly contributing to its development.
