The deadline to join the Rowing Ireland Youth Commission 2026, has been extended until Thursday the 12th of March.

Are you passionate about rowing? Want to help shape the future of the sport in Ireland? Following a hugely successful first year, we’re delighted to reopen applications for the Rowing Ireland Youth Commission 2026, with an extended deadline to give even more young rowers the chance to get involved.

This is your chance to have a real voice in Rowing Ireland, represent young athletes across the country, and gain valuable experience that will stay with you long after your time on the water.

What’s Involved?

As a member of the Youth Commission, you will:

Take part in 1–2 in person meetings and four online sessions throughout the year.

Meet and put your questions to key members of the Core Team and High-Performance Team.

Present your work to the Rowing Ireland Board, a standout experience for any young leader.

Shape the voice of youth rowing through a Social Media Takeover Day and help design the Youth Commission webpage.

Receive a Certificate of Participation when you complete the programme
