Rule Changes EGM – Proposal to defer EGM to Feb 20^th 2022

In accordance with the Articles, our current four-yearly rule change meeting must take place before the 31^st December 2021.

Due to the lateness of the regatta season and the considerable amount of work which is being concluded on the Constitution, the Board believes there is insufficient time to consult with clubs and finalise the rule changes before Christmas.

The Board now proposes that a 15-minute Zoom EGM will be held on 12^th December at 10 am to allow for deferral of the rule changes EGM to 20^th February 2022 at 10 am. 

Should this proposal fail, the clubs will not have an opportunity to propose changes to the rules of racing for the next four years and any changes will only be possible as temporary rule changes proposed by the Board.
