2K Erg Test
Following the submission of December erg monitoring, in conjunction with recent on-water and erg monitoring, the invitation list for the January on-water trial can be found below.
Invitation to this trial is contingent upon attendance and performance at the 2k Erg National Championships at the University of Limerick on January 20th.
Any athlete disappointed not to receive an invitation is encouraged to participate in the Indoor Championships at UL. If they show a strong performance in their 2k erg testing, they may be added to the January water trial invitation list at the discretion of the High Performance Director.
Water Trial: January 27th – 28th
- Clubs are asked to support their athletes by providing 2x/- and 4x/- (Athletes that do not have crew boats for this trial will not be in a position to be included in crew boat testing)
- Times will be confirmed once entry is confirmed.
- Please note that an invitation to Sunday racing may be subject to Saturday’s performance.
- Lightweights, please study the required body weight for this event published on the RI website in the high-performance section.
- Coaches are asked to confirm their athlete’s attendance at the water trial by emailing michael.orourke@rowingireland.ie by end of day on Friday, January 19th.
