With the regatta season in full swing, we would like to invite you to volunteer for the two flagship events on the domestic rowing calendar – the Rowing Ireland 1K Classic and the Irish Rowing Championships. These regattas are key highlights of the season, and the organising committee is eager to build on the strong successes achieved in recent years.
We would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely acknowledge that these regattas are simply not possible without the continued commitment, professionalism and hard work of our umpiring panel. Your support is greatly appreciated and is central to the delivery of safe and high-quality racing.

Event Details
Rowing Ireland 1K Classic
• Date: 27–28 June
• Location: Lough Rinn
• All umpires will receive lunch and refreshments; regatta polo; and free accommodation locally (where required)

Irish Rowing Championships
• Date: 10–12 July
• Location: National Rowing Centre, Cork
• All umpires will receive lunch and refreshments; regatta polo; reimbursed parking at Coillte Car Park; complimentary accommodation available for those officiating all three days

We are also planning to hold a briefing session in advance of the Championships to support all umpires in preparation for the event. Further details and dates for this session will be shared in due course.
