Skibbereen Regatta 

This was the first Grand League event of the season and the largest regatta so far in 2022. It was fantastic to see a full return of rowers, coaches and supporters back for some competitive racing at the National Rowing Centre. 

Events offered included junior, intermediate, lightweight, senior, masters, club and novice.

Portadown Regatta 

Crews travelling from Sligo, Athlone, Neptune, Carrick on Shannon, Carlow, Belfast and Commerical for the 2022 Portadown Regatta. The regatta was also supported by nearer by clubs City of Derry, Enniskillen, Bann Rowing Club, Belfast Boat Club, Belfast Rowing Club, Newry Rowing Club, Lady Victoria Boat Club and Methodist College. In total, 250 crews & 524 rowers took part in the regatta. Despite persistent rain, the day of racing was successful and over 500 photographs of the action can be found on the regatta facebook page linked HERE
