We are super excited as next week kicks off – Women in Sport Week 2022- including International Women’s Day on Tuesday, 8th March.
Rowing Ireland will be celebrating International Women’s Day and have plans to build on it with a week long ‘Women in Sport’ campaign – focusing on Visibility, Participation, Coaching and Officiating and Leadership.
Throughout the week we will be reflecting on where we are as a sport in terms of gender balance, with our Coaching, Leadership and Participation Snapshot. We will be highlighting our current initiatives, hosting a number of webinars and launching Dublin’s Women on the Water for 2022.
As well as participating in some of the Rowing Ireland & Sport Ireland initiatives, we encourage you to highlight International Women’s Day and Women in Sport Week in your own club.
