For the Attention of Rowing Parents, Athletes and Coaches.

TUS  (Technological University of the Shannon) Athlone, are conducting a survey to gather the experiences of young female athletes on the support for female health domains (strength & conditioning, menstrual cycle health, breast health, and pelvic floor health) within their sport.  From this study they hope to identify what areas need further support to ensure young female athletes can continue to thrive within their sport.

They are looking for young female athletes aged 15 to 20 who have competed at a regional/provincial or International level to complete a 10-minute survey. For rowers this could include those who attend squad days or competed at the Home Internationals, the Coupe, European Championships or World Championship. They would really love to hear about their experiences as a young female athlete.

If you are a parent/guardian of an athlete under 18: if are happy for your daughter to take part, please share the below link or QR code with her.

If you are an athlete aged 18–20: you can click directly into the survey and share your experiences.

If you are a coach: please consider sharing this information with your athletes (over 18) and/or their parents.

Please find below the link to the questionnaire and the QR code. Both link to the same survey so please use whichever is more convenient for you.

Your help in sharing and completing the questionnaire is greatly appreciated.
