Rowing Ireland is the national governing body for the sport of rowing across the island of Ireland, north and south. The organisation was founded in Dublin as the Irish Amateur Rowing Union on February 3rd, 1899.

From 00.01 hrs on 26 December Rowing facilities (indoor and outdoor) must close. Elite athletes can train only between 6:00am and 8:00pm.
The Sports Sustainability Fund NI deadline has been extended to 4pm on the 20th of January for submission. Club submissions to the Ulster Branch should be made between Jan 11th, and 4pm on 14th January.
