Another amazing day of racing from our rowers over in San Sebastian. Calm weather and 25 degree heat is proving to be perfect conditions for the athletes.
We got off to an amazing start with the CMix2x crew Patrick Boomer and Miriam Sheehan on route to win the final leg of their event when the British crew crashed into their boat and caused Miriam’s oar to break. They incredibly continued their race with only three oars to come in 10th place. We are so proud of the crew and this amazing performance.
We finished the Club Coastal events on a high also with a third place win from Natalie Long and Ronan Byrne in the CCMix2x. Well done to all the rowers who competed today. We had some amazing results up against very strong competitors.
