Crews travelled to The Marina in Cork for Skibbereen Head of the River and Enniskillen Royal Grammar School for Erne 4’s Head of the River on Saturday 13th November.

Skibbereen Head of the River

Lee Rowing Club hosted organisers Skibbereen Rowing Club for the Skibbereen Head of the River in the Marina in Cork City, with racing beginning shortly after 9am for the 3km timed event. Special thanks are extended to all volunteers, visiting clubs, parents, supporters, Lee Rowing Club, Shandon BC, Cork BC, Queen B Athletics and Spearline for making the day such a success. Conditions were excellent on the River Lee.

Erne 4’s Head of the River

Crews from St Michaels Rowing Club, Neptune RC, Portora, Belfast RC, Belfast BC, Queens University Boat Club, Dublin University Ladies Boat Club, St Josephs RC, Colaiste Iognaid RC, Lagan Scullers, Methodist RC, Sligo RC, Enniskillen Royal Boat Club, NUIG and Commercial RC took part in the 6km event along the River Erne which had live timing that coaches could tune into on their phones via raceclocker. Many thanks are extended to all volunteers and supporters.
